Tell me about it I managed to beat her in the end but not without cheesing the battle with items, and using my lower level Pokemon as dummy Pokemon to escape Attract, then there's Milk Drink, Stomp and Rollout too.

next time, level a gastly til it learns curse, save it for the miltank (it likely wont' OKO the gastly when switched in) and curse it

Well my other alternative was raising Heracross up, then found out he doesn't even learn a Fighting move until Counter at Lv27, Reversal at Lv44 or teaching Rock Smash, which would require me to move Sudowoodo, which requires the Squirtbottle, which requires defeating Whitney anyways.

My main team, which I limited to 3 at the time I challenged Whitney to a rematch, was Quilava Lv21, Geodude Lv22, Ariados Lv22 with my others being Bellsprout Lv5 (Cut Slave), Elekid Lv5 (hatched from the egg obtained from the Day Care couple) and Heracross Lv10 (planned Ariados replacement)

yup, only ghost move that works on everything, i believe

although in g/s/c it was a ???? type move for some reason
