Are you a Hardcore Gamer or a Casual Gamer?

The plantinums I have are the games that just require you to beat the games on the hardest levels and achieve all the major plot lines.

There are few collect everythings with them, but not all of them. The games that require that, I get about 8 or 9% complete even though I beat them on the hardest levels and got everything worth wild in them.

I'm not one who has to get a 100% complete in a game, I like the challenge of a game. Not stupid get everything games, even it's extraordinarily boring to do so.

I play them for fun and a challenge.

For me i find the mundane task of collecting and doing everything. It's a quirk of mine if i enjoy a game.. i want to do everything possible on it.

That's cool, It doesn't bother me what others want to accomplish as long what I want to accomplish is fine by them. Max difficulty is my goal. But only for games I want to play.

I get that, it's always my main goal and i find it more fun to have a challenge.

I guess i'm kind of inbetween? I'm the type of person who won't be able to play for 2/3 weeks due to work or sickness but then i'll spend a week gaming nonstop.. XD

Depends on the game. I got Quite a few with 400h+ clocked (over years of course) Just looking at my avatar should tell you what games

I guess I'm a mix. That said, I don't think I could ever class myself as 'hardcore' - sure when I was a teenager at school/college, as soon as I got home each night it would be on the PC I went for the evening playing MMOs such as WoW or EVE Online but I wasn't ever really 'amazing' at any of them. I deem 'hardcore gamer' as some one who literally sleeps, breathes and walks gaming and knows absolutely everything there is to know from best character builds, to aceing every raid or boss, to every possible attack pattern and combination. I enjoy my games, I really do, but I don't think I've ever truly 100% invested myself in a game; sure I've binged the crap out of a few titles over the years - here's looking at you Halo and Mass Effect - and I've often gone achievement/trophy hunting but still wouldn't class myself as anywhere near hardcore. On the flip side, I wouldn't class myself a casual either as I do play regularly and like to think I'm quite a good, solid all-round gamer (apart from Dark Souls.... Dark Souls can eat **** )

You will learn to love Dark Souls as much as i do one day XD I will make sure of it.
