To those just starting on the journey of life I say...
Bang your own drum. Walk your own path. Live wildly. Love fiercely.
As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

I get when people say Remasters shouldn't get game of the year but I hope Silent Hill 2 gets a few awards cause it is really good. I'm hoping Astro Bot takes the award cause it is fun!

"Game Awards"? More like "Geoff Keighley trying to make friends"... Honestly, not much really deserves an award this year...
Astro Bot was good apparently, but is an exclusive, so should be excluded.
Elden Ring DLC was great, but it's a DLC so should be excluded,
FF was a remake or something, so meh
Black Myth: Wukong was great, sold well, was forgotten about 2 weeks after launch...
Silent Hill 2 was a remaster or something, so meh
Satisfactory finally came out of early access, but they forgot to patch in the fun, so that one's out.
Factorio DLC is great, doesn't have mass appeal so thats out...
Sons of the Forest was a great cabin building sim with "story" and "gameplay" so it didn't have much going on...
Pacific Drive was great, but apparently not great enough to catch people's interest...
Space Marine 2 was great, but also rather quickly forgotten
So my vote goes to Qix(1981)

This year’s contenders include Astro Bot, Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Metaphor: ReFantazio. The selection showcases a mix of action, role-playing, and narrative-driven experiences, with some surprises like the inclusion of a DLC pack.
