The trailer for the latest chapter opens with the new survivor, Vittorio, breaking a hex totem when he suddenly senses a presence behind him, turning around to see The Knight approaching. Hearing another noise, Vittorio turns to see three iron-clad figures surrounding him. Upon being given the command by their superior, these three figures chase after a terrified Vittorio.



The Knight is able to summon and command the Jailor, Assassin and Carnifex at will. While the Assassin specializes at catching survivors during the hunt, the Jailor is better at patrolling areas and defending generators, and the Carnifex specializes in breaking and damaging objects faster.

There is a new map known as "The Shattered Square," which resembles a battlefield the likes of which one might find when playing For Honor.
