It's taken them 7 months but it's finally in a decent playable state lol

I havent played it since i finished it soon after launch.

I tried it on Xbox One initially, that was an experiance, stuttering, textures not loading in properly, lock up whenever any tutorial messages pop up (which was frequent!), overall a complete mess.

but i thankfully got the Series X, the game ran much better, was still buggy in places but nothing that ruined it for me. I may try it when i decide to do another playthrough.

but yeah, i wouldn't reccomend paying 60 for it.

i didnt play it in the end, decided to play through some other stuff thats half complete and taking up disk space for a year now lol. i will play through it properly though as when it worked i found it really fun.

Nearly 2 years ago I did what as a rule I almost never do, fell for the hype and pre-ordered Cyber Punk 2077 even though I hate Grand Theft Auto style games in general.

I bought it, and after waiting 5 hours for the damn thing to install (and even then the feckin' thing crashed! Eh?) I had to take it back for a replacement.

My son said it was pretty awful when first launched, but they have been working on it constantly, and today's game is a whole lot better. Hopefully they have learnt from the experience.

The issue was that it was released knowing full well it wasn't completed, with all the delays the general public was basically demanding for it to be released. I say it's a prime example that you can't rush a good game.
