Square Enix announced that the new game will launch on SWITCH in November.
The game will center on Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. The game will focus on the childhood of the siblings, and will center on treasure hunting activity.

I actually am glad it is coming out on Switch. I tend to prefer playing my long story jrpgs on my pc and my shorter little bit here and there games on the switch. I think it will be a good fit for the system. I was also glad we finally got a confirmed release date. IIRC the last update we had on DQ day hadn't given us anything other than this year. Now I know when to expect it and can't wait for it and more DQ in general!
