The highly anticipated Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game was scheduled for a 2022 release, but it was recently announced that it has been delayed until spring 2023.
Set in the same universe as the successful Arkham Asylum and Arkham City games, it is set 5 years after the events in the Batman: Arkham VR game.
Following the merger of Discovery and WarnerMedia (for $43 Million), the newly formed Warner Bros Discovery has announced the desire to better integrate DC Movies, streaming shows, and the creative division itself. After formally announcing a decision to overall its film division, it now appears DC plans to change up its entire approach to entertainment outside of the comics -- including adding more emphasis on gaming.
Due soon is an update to the long running DC Universe Online, called Dark Knights. Also in the pipeline is significant graphics update for the game. Scheduled for sometime next year, a release date has not yet been confirmed.

Suicide Squad game delayed until 2023
To those just starting on the journey of life I say...
Bang your own drum. Walk your own path. Live wildly. Love fiercely.
As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

Suicide Squad game delayed until 2023
I’ve said it once and I’ve said it a million times, but it baffles me how so many games get delayed. I fully understand delays in production, that’s not my problem, but you’d think by now studios would account for that?
But what do I know, I’m the player not the creator
