Mario 64 is the last in that franchise I've played, Mario games just don't appeal to me at all. Back in the day I had them all on NES and SNES but as I got older they lost their appeal.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
Ok so ive played a good 2-3 hours I'd say and ive got 17 stars so far. Ngl has been quite the adjustment with the controls and camera angles and stuff. First Bowser encounter wasnt that bad. Some courses though are really doing my head in already XD
Some of the camera controls are a bit iffy, but in general the camera's fine. Would have been nice if they gave us free reign with the camera but oh well. The only time it really causes issues are for some of the latter courses like tick tock clock.
Last night finally beat Mario 64 70 stars! First time doing it totally alone
I have also had a ton of issues with the camera not being very user-friendly, and underwater controls. But honestly considering it was the first proper 3D venture, it's really rather decent
I've been considering the collection but have refrained as they are pure emulation rather than port or remasters. Also the only game I haven't played in the collection is sunshine.
Maybe I'm just being a miser. Only a month left to collect it before it disappears from print forever...
