Prepare to hit the pay wall once you get your characters to lvl 70. The resin system is outright bad. It plays nice and feels nice tho. However there's really not much veriaty of things to do and once you've explored the world you're left with nothing.

So I still haven't played this even though I installed it weeks ago

Truth be told I have been given the impression thay there isn't a great deal of content within the game itself, and that there are too many mobile game mechanics and monetisation ploys which has put me off playing it for the time being

While there are some really scummy pay to win mobile games, this game is so restrictive that throwing money at the game will put at more of a disadvantage than an advantage. More characters and equipment means you'll need more resources are needed and the game hard caps you with its energy system. you can't top it up with the premium currency more than 6 times a day (3 full refills), and that gets more expensive each time.

TL;DR, spending money is detrimental, but not for the usual reasons gacha games are.

Definitely BOTW meets SOA Alfheim.

I don't mind making the odd payment for characters. Got all mine for free mind. Just gotta grind a bit. The animation, open world and gameplay is incredible.

Have been playing this game. so far at AR 23 and I have yet to put any money into it. Just enjoying the game without paying for any extra characters. I at least get on for dailies.

I just goto the Spiral Abyss whenever I need a large amount of primogems.

Currently on AR 31 and managed to get my main character I use (Noelle) to Lvl 50 with her weapon at lvl 50 aswell
