Leaked images of the new Boulders Gate

Earlier today images of the upcoming boulders gate 3 leaked prior to the games official game play trailer reveal this evening.

Boulders Gate 3 will be the first new game in the franchise since Dark Alliance II which was released way back in 2004, however the new game will apparently follow a whole new story. There is currently no release date for Boulders Gate 3 but early access is expected to be available sometime this year.

Were you a fan of any of the earlier Boulders Gate games? are you excited for an update in the old D&D franchise of video games?

Is calling it "Boulders Gate" a joke I am too outside of this group to get?

People are complaining about the combat system (turn based, If I'm correct), but I think that's the way to go.

I barely remember Boulders Gate it's been that long. That said, I do remember it being a good competitor to the original Diablo and Diablo 2, both of which I am incredibly fond of. I'm going to be keeping my eye on this game as it develops and we get to see more of it as I am certainly keen to give it a try.

Yea I was more of a Diablo player than Boulders Gate but really enjoyed Dark Alliance. I'm looking forward to the release of this one, it will be good to see how they've attempted to innovate and revamp the series.
