so yeah last great story and I am really picky if it comes to that was Nier Automata it gave me the same "what should I do now" effect the Witcher gave me after I finished it and I don't get this often. Tho to get the full picture you have to read through a lot of in-game notes. And prior to that and TW3? Morrowind most likely and Darrowshire questline in WoW

I've seen a great many things... That tear a man's hear asunder..."
i've heard nothing but great stuff about Nier Automata and in particular how good and also weird the story is.

The best story game ever is Xenogears on PS1. its just that the graphics are not that quality unlike Final Fantasy or Resident Evil that time so that's why they didn't get the popularity like those games.

I never really thought about it but you're right the DoW story is very good.

Danganronpa, the whole series. Every game blew me away story-wise. Maybe Phoenix Wright after that?

Final Fantasy XIII. I invested hundreds of hours into the game, even after I finished the story ad went tracking down Cie'th Stones. I still need to unlock some Trophies, but I love the story of the first FF XIII. I haven't played XIII-2 or Lightning Returns yet. Well, I played a few gates in XIII-2 but I didn't finish XIII before I did, so that was kind of not adding up. I need to replay XIII so I can play the sequels though.

The Danganronpa series as a whole, and the Phoenix Wright series as a close second.

What game in your opinion has the best story line?
I quite liked the storyline for Life is Strange, Telltale's The Walking Dead, Minecraft Story Mode, Batman: The Telltale Series, Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series and Tales from the Borderland

AOT 2, as it follows the anime.
But I do like my Alien Isolation line too.
