Finished rewatching I Am Not Okay With This. Then found out they cancelled the second season so I bought the comic. Can definitely say with absolute certainty that the show would not have finished the way the comic did.

Finished the Boys S2.

Now I'm back to rewatching Fairy Tail and in need of something else to go alongside it. Suggestions welcome!

if you haven't seen it already, i suggest The Wire - easily one of the best TV series ever made, it beats the likes of Breaking Bad by far, especially with the changes to the show's dynamics every season, like they're all connected in one way or another but from a completely different perspective... i'm probably not selling it well, but i assure you it's worth the time, the ending of season 5 had me screaming c:!

as stated above, i'm currently re-watching The Wire and so i'm already on season 2 - i forgot how awesome this series actually is, it's easily my favourite show that isn't anime-related tbh :3

Damn, the Wire is a blast from the past. Remember watching it back not long after it first aired along with the likes of 24, NCIS and the Unit!

Oh, I don't know. Whilst Breaking Bad is pretty much as near perfect as you're gonna get, it was a slow burner. Think it took me 3 attempts to get past season 1.

Because The Wire wasn't slow and pretentious like at all.
But I agree with the rest of what melanch0lic said. It was cool the way they shifted the focus of each season. I liked the last two the best, where the focus was on education and media.

I honestly cannot even remember the first season of the Wire, it's been that long

conclusion: Ratched was amazing, finished watching the haunting of bly manor and that was also super good.
