OVA announced for the franchise that has not seen an anime series for 31 years.
In Minky Momo, a princess from a magical world is sent to Earth to help people recover their lost hopes and dreams. Using her magic, and with the aid of her magical dog, monkey and bird, Minky – known on Earth as “Gigi” – encounters amazing adventures.
The OVA is part of the 50th Anniversary Project of Ashi Productions, and they have been streaming a promotional video featuring Minki Momo along with some of the other pioneering magical girl characters that they have animated.
