You've got to remember that these shows are aimed at Japanese audiences, paid for by Japanese TV stations, and that Western viewers are an added bonus. Isekai is very big in Japan.

well obviously there is a market that is what there are so many of them but an objective observation is that the quality has gone way down , and this is not a Japanese problem commercialism has always toyed with arts
