The 1983 anime adaptation of the classic manga series, by Tsukasa Hojo, is to get an all new version on Disney+ in 2025.
Hojo's Cat's Eye manga centers on three sisters who run a cafe by day, and are notorious art thieves by night.
The manga has already inspired 2 previous anime series. 36 episodes in 1983/84, and 37 episodes in 1984/85.
There is also a cross-over series Lupin III vs Cats Eye that started streaming on Amazon Prime video in 2023.
There is also a live-action series (8 episodes at 52 minutes each) currently showing on French TV, which will also make it's way onto Amazon Prime in a few months time.

I wonder what they do with the art they take?

Hmm. I'm not sure if this will get an airing in the West.
September debut expected on Disney+ Japan (on their "Star" brand).
