Released on TV way back in 1981, it was a futuristic retelling of the ancient Greek legend of Ulysses, who got sent on a LONG voyage due to defiance of the Gods of Olympus.
I've got the full series on DVD and watched the very first episode this morning (well there weren't much else on), and it was largely made in Japan so does it classify as anime?
Was Ulysses 31 anime?
