I started reading the novels, and then followed up with the manga. It's about time it had an anime.

He sees through Maomao's façade and makes her a lady-in-waiting to none other than the Emperor's favourite consort... so she can taste the lady's food for poison!

It looks as though she's doing a bit more than food tasting. Like crafting medicines.

Can't wait.

Binged the first four episodes, and the series is all that I expected.

They are following the story lines pretty closely, other than exploring her early home life in any great detail.

Maomao is already beginning to suspect that there is more to Jinshi than is apparent.

The series will be taking a short break over Christmas, and will resume January 6.
