Anyone watched My Roommate is a Cat? It’s currently in my queue based on the title alone

is it any good?

Yes, it's wonderful.

The japanese title is much better. "My roommate is in my lap, and sometimes on my head". I can only assume that whoever decided the english title has lost all reason for living and eats plain oatmeal for breakfast.

That original title is excellent, I bet the translator is the type who irons creases in his jeans

OK, I've watched the first 2 episodes, and it looks like I will be in for the long haul. A warm and cosy slice of life anime.

It reminds me a bit of "Usagi Drop." It's got the same feeling. Two complete strangers that build a life together out of tragic circumstances.

Okay I'm 6 episodes in now, its really good. The backstories of the characters are coming out, really curious to see where it goes next. I'll have to check out Usagi Drop too
