London Anime Festival on the Southbank March/April

Anime Film Screenings at London's BFI Southbank in Late March and April.

The April 2022 programme for the BFI Southbank in London confirms the following anime screenings, starting at the end of March and running on through April. This is the first part of a two-month anime season at the BFI. Tickets will become available to BFI members from 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday March 1, and will go on general sale at 11.30 a.m. on Thursday March 3.

 Spirited Away (2001), directed by Hayao MiyazakiRepeated on Friday April 29 at 6 p.m.

 Early Days of Anime Shorts Programme 1917 - 1946. This programme will include a TBC introduction and the following short films: The Dull SwordThe Story of TobaccoThe LumpNonsense Story Vol 1: The Monkey IslandSpring SongPropagateArichan the AntLa Surprise de Fuku-chanThe Spider's Thread, The Spider and the Tulip. The programme is repeated on Monday April 11 at 8.40 p.m.

We did advertise their last one before covid. I would like to go but London is still a trek it's easier when you are in it yourself :)
