Otogi Zoshi isn't very available.

I haven't seen anyone really mention it but I've loved these ever since I saw them:

The SoulTaker is a 13-episode anime but it's awesome. LOVED IT as a kid!
Boogiepop Phantom
Twilight of the Dark Master but I've never been able to find one online that you could stream. Still bugs me that I can't.
I'm not really sure if X is obscure or not but it's still a good watch.
Cyber City Oedo 808 which, again, I'm not sure if that's obscure or not. Still good to see.

I think there's a few others I can't think of right now but when I do I'll mention them. Hope these help!

Ouran High School Host Club isn't what I would call obscure, but it does have a girl crossdressing as a member of the host club.

Birdy the Mighty - a boy gets caught up between a battle between Birdy and an alien, only to become gravely injured. As Birdy's superiors hold that as being Birdy's responsibility, they decide the only thing to do is to have the two share Birdy's body.

Cheeky Angel - He wanted to be a man among men - but the demon turns her into a girl. Only her closest friend remembers that she used to be a guy.

All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku - a scientist and his son, fleeing the corporation that the mother helps manage with a cyborg body he developed and a kitten that gets injured along the way. The scientst decides there 's only one real way to save the kitten....

That it does!! I think I even nabbed an mp3 of it at some point and burned it to a CD along with other anime soundtracks. I used to do it at the school I was going to. rofl They had better internet. lol Good to know someone else likes it as much as I do.

I even bought the whole series which is when it helps there's only 13 episodes.

I couldn't remember what Cyber City Oedo was or not though but I figured I'd mention it. Have you seen Twilight of the Dark Master? I hope it's online somewhere. That movie rocked!!
