I don't have the foggiest idea what people see in this sterile snoozefest. The characters hav been flanderized and become 2-dimensional. The animation is GARBAGE, the Dragonballs ar pointless and everything is predictable, and super saijn blue is pointless and changes nothing. Why does the show have to be SO BRIGHT and colorful? Is this a children's cartoon? Why has Goku becom Naruto always pestering about training? How can such a souless nostalgia baity show be so popular? God, I hate this show.

I haven't even seen it.

But tbh, I have no idea at all whether it's good or not. As far as I understand it's a typical shounen, right? Is there anything unique about it?

Dragonball is a lot of fun to watch. It has comedy, action, adventure and the occasional romance.

Neither of them are better than the other. they're both bad in their own ways. I haven't watched the entirety of Super, but I've seen some big fights out of curiosity and it feels like I'm watching an abridged series at times
