[Bingefest] Honzuki no Gekokujō

This another favorite anime of mine.
I'm going to watch it now. Again I'm not going to use it's English name, only it's Romanji name, so how it be pronounced in Japanese.
Yes they're will be spoilers without being hidden or tagged. Others who reply should do the same. If someone else wants to name what this anime is in English they may do so. I'll give you hint, it's a fairly popular one and season 2 will be starting soon, like within a week.

started episode 1, the main character just died.
Incidentally the Light Novel and anime start very differently. The Light Novel starts in modern Japan, where the main character has her nose stuffed in a book while walking across a street. A child hood friend of hers pulls her out of the street before she gets hit by a car. She is hardly thankful. Next she heads to her home with the guy, and he wants to play video games there while they wait for her mom to finish cooking dinner. She goes to her room which is stacked full of books, and I mean a lot of them, there is only sitting room. While she's reading in her room a small earth quack hits, like 2.5. But it was enough to move the books, and they collapse on her, killing her. Yes it's an Isekai, but no like others, it's so different. For one she starts life in another world as frail weak child with no powers and so sick half the time that she spends more days bedridden than not.
Yes, it fails two important factors. She wasn't killed by a truck.... And she doesn't have miraculous super powers. Then there's a third thing her only goal is to make a book initially. And this task is practically impossible for her to achieve, so simple, but a struggle for her nonetheless.

I just finished watching episode 1.
Myne or Main didn't know the language at first in both the LN and anime, so she didn't understand what they were saying until memories flooded into her mind.
Initially she did indeed try and find a book. The floor was incredibly dirty, in the anime it sorta reflects this but it doesn't really state why she doesn't like her bare feet coming contact with the floor. It's layered with dirt. They don't sweep it. The comforter she used to open the door was her parents' and she knew that.
They always where shoes in the house, so the floor having lots of dirt on it is no big issue. Further they don't dust or keep webs cleaned out either.
After Myne fails to get her books she works getting everyone in her house to be cleaner, she got her dad to clean out the cobwebs in the room, and she swept the dust off the floor. Sometime after that she went to the market and put hair out of her face with the hair stick.
When Myne passes out, her mother wakes her by giving her a swig of alcohol, that doesn't happen in the anime. I'd also like to point out Myne's vocabulary is small at this point. She doesn't know that many words in her knew language. When she stays with the store she asks the old man about all kinds of things in his store, and he teaches her what all of them are called. Later on she finds the book and asks about that. He does refuse to let her touch it, but because it's expensive. She gives up on it and learns about other stuff in the store.
Oh, right she does indeed learn the number system from her mother. She picks up on it quickly because she realizes its a base 10 numbering system. She isn't mentioned in the anime either. By the end of episode 1 she knows books aren't sold in stores often, when they are, they are only something a noble would buy because they are all made by hand.

I finished episode 2. It starts with Myne deciding that she needs to make her own books.

I’m binging this in comparison of the start of season 2 tomorrow.
I’ve almost completed episode 7
I’ve read all the books so I’m sure I know for the most part what’s going to occur in season 2

Done and done, I have binged watched all the episodes. Perhaps I should read the books again. The next book will be coming out soon, in a couple weeks I believe.
Oh right, season 2 episode 1 was just fantastic as to be expected.

I finished watching this too.
Again no one seemed interested so while I may watch others I’m done with this. Sharing binges isn’t any fun when no one comments.
I know a lot about this anime too since I’ve read all the LNs published so far in English.
