I've not had any interest in any new anime for like a year.... I have a bunch of junk on my plan to watch list that has made it there at some point or another. So I dunno, sell me on something on there or sell me on something else. I don't mind what genre, I'll watch anything if I happen to like it. Nothing too long maybe around 50 episodes at most.

114 series that you plan to watch? We don't seem to have many in common.

Hmm I'm going to have to think about this for a while. We only have 17 series in common, but we score pretty similar. So...

You enjoyed Clannad and the After Story, but you didn't watch the rest. I would definitely try the rest as they take different routes with the same characters.
Clannad: After Story - Mou Hitotsu no Sekai, Kyou-hen (Clannad: After Story - Another World, Kyou Chapter)
Clannad: Mou Hitotsu no Sekai, Tomoyo-hen (Clannad: Another World, Tomoyo Chapter)
Clannad Movie (Clannad The Motion Picture) A retelling of the original story but without the fillers etc.
Elfen Lied
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. (I've watched the original, and everybody seems to think that Brotherhood is better)
Soul Eater (I've not seen it but it is rated quite highly)

What else? Something from my own lists...

Dance in the Vampire Bund.
Hoshi no Koe (Voices of a Distant Star)
Karin

Let's see what else comes up from other people.

I've seen the Clannad side stories, I'm just bad at keeping my list nice and clean :P
Haven't seen the Clannad movie and I don't think I want to either. I liked the way the series went and I don't think I'd enjoy changes to the story. I liked and hated the side stories, because I kept thinking about poor little Nagisa D:

I've heard good things about Elfen Lied, but I also heard the horror aspect is lost at some point.

The only thing I've heard about FMA is that its good and that makes me skeptical since I would have expected to hear at least 1 person to say its bad. Is Brotherhood a continuation or a remake?

Sould Eater.... I actually downloaded this at some point and forgot that I wanted to watch it so might start with that.

I'm away from home at the moment so don't have the time to check out the ones you suggested, but from the Synopsis Karin did seem fun. I'll take a closer look over the weekend.

Thanks for the suggestions !

You've got Maria†Holic on your Planning to Watch list. That's fun. So is Spice & Wolf, Full Metal Panic!, No Game No Life.

For the horror:
Hell Girl - If someone has wronged you and you see no way out, you can write their name on a website that only opens exactly at the stroke of midnight and meet Ai Enma, the Hell Girl, who can drag them to hell. But, there is a cost.... Admittedly, episodic at first, but about the eight episode things start to change.

Currently watching Hell's Paradise and Dead Mount Death Play. The last is a reverse isekei where a necromancer has set up a reincarnation spell and winds up in our world. And surprised again when he finds he's already been targeted - or at least, the former owner of his body has.
