Why do I think it is a bad thing?

Funimation is trusted by the rest of the committee to use their international expertise to better market the show to foreign viewers and provide more detailed input to the other Japanese companies regarding what fans abroad would like to see.

Oh, so international fans do not want to watch Interspecies Reviewers I assume…

Funimation is owned by Sony, and it is an international company just like Funimation. But its in Japan. I'm not sure how a Japanese company would have abroad information about international consumers that other Japanese companies wouldn't have. Granted Sony has been in the international business for some time. So I suppose.

But I'm sure it was a few who made a big deal out of the show instead of the Majority of anime fans on that show. They probably weren't even anime fans. It was cut out because of the bad publicity Funimation could have gotten if it continued to make it available. Which is dumb. Unfortunately there are those with a lot of influence over companies like Funimation that in no way represents the majority or lines Funimation's pocket, they just hold power to make them look bad which cost a lot in profits.

Funimation cannot operate without profits, nor can other places like it. So a few wicked people who mistakenly believe they good doers forced an overall unwanted change. Ah well, guess it's all about Ethics of the few rather than the many that counts.

Anyways, so far I'm liking most of the anime I've watched in this new season.

I didn't get into that many last season. I ended up only watching one of them all the way through.
