I watched some episodes, but dropped it at some point. As far as shounen anime are concerned, I enjoyed others more than this one (e.g. One Piece).

It was fun the first time. Good characters for its style. Cute. But I've found it has very little rewatch value. Rewatching it, the whole thing just seems mediocre. I wonder if that's how you tell the difference between a show that's legit good versus has good elements. Fairy Tail definitely has good elements.

I think that as an anime the characters are really strong I love it, but for me I think the story and composing is what makes it. I music gives it an epic feel, which makes up from filler at times

Watched the first season - it was fun, I may complete the next season one day.

I have rewatched parts of this anime.

I haven’t finished it. I should.

Again this anime appeals to me because I share a name with one of the characters.

The music is pretty good. But I like the story and characters too. Some parts are cheesy though.

I loved it back then, however I could tell that the quality of the storytelling was going a bit downhill - regardless, I still continued watching it purely because I was a bit attached to it and since I watched/read quite a bit of it, might as well see it through to the end.

I liked the characters. I liked the magic. I liked the art. I liked the music. I liked the story early on.
However, as others have mentioned, it got a little cheesy and the fights felt repetitive, they use plot armour and the power of friendship a bit too often for my tastes and so on and so on.

But, since it is one of my first anime, I have a soft spot for it :)

I enjoy it. Overall I give it an 8/10. I'm a huge Zeref fangirl. *lol*

Jellal for the win!

Honestly, haven’t watched all of the last season yet. But I am keeping up with 100 year quest as well
