Hey all, ive been a fan since my early teens (im 31 now)

I started reading it in the american shonen jumps and then moved onto reading the manga then watched the anime.

Im currently at 852 and binging to catch up. Im so over the moon that we can finally stream one piece legally. Took long enough haha

Cool one piece things ive got to do - j-world, tokyo tower one piece, one piece cafes, one piece live show, mugiwara shops, jump store and one piece orchestra uk.

P.s i still remember watching the 4kids dub and being very sad haha

Haha never watched the rubbish 4kids version thankfully i got first dose of one piece 3 years ago it good had a lot of fun getting through it i am on ep 920 my self right now

my favorite characters is Law and Zoro. I've cosplayed Law a few times. My favorite arc is Water 7 but I only got to the end of water 7 in the anime (about 325) as crunchyroll doesnt have all the eps after that until wano arc. As of writing this post I am currently up to date on the manga

One piece does shonen characters better than any other shonen.
It does shonen story better than any other shonen.
It does worldbuilding better than any other shonen.
It does art and creativity better than any other shonen.
It's not exactly hard to watch given that it's the apex of its genre.

IDK, I usually consider FMA as the pinnacle of shounen, especially since it actually ended at some point...

I don't see a particular need to have ended unless the progression always feels the same. That's what bleach got wrong. One piece is a lot more interesting and fun than that.

Outside the shonen genre, I think FMA has both better story and better characters. It's certainly one of the best dramas.
But one piece is definitely the better shonen. Otoko no roman and shit. I said it's shonen characters and shonen story that it's the best at.

Yeah, I finished reading Bleach and it was just a mishmash of the same storylines each time. Naruto changed somewhat but the final battles were a little awkward. One Piece is the only one I really never got into...
