Watching ep 3 now

The moment when the sandal's eyes move. That's funny. I cracked the hell up at Iruma's reaction. The damn things are so subtle too. The contrast is part of the humor it looks like.

Lol. Third episode was the best so far. I like Clara. She's fun to watch.

I think this show does a pretty good job of comedy. It's, like, timing or something. I don't understand comedy. But I like this.

Ha ha, they used Hebrew alphabet.

OK, I know what I don't like in this kind of comedy. The deus ex machina parts. They seem to be unavoidable.

He cannot fly. So the author must do some deus ex machina tricks. And they're usually not funny to me.

It's just not my style of comedy.

You know, he could also find a teleporter or a portal, because why not.

Or he could find a potion which made him grow wings temporarily.

Or he could meet a new friend with wings.

Or he could get caught by some flying creatures and carried.

Or he could find a spellbook with a spell to enable him to fly.

Or …

It's just random and not funny TO ME.

I gonna drop this one now.

And of course his new parent knows about all of that. And of course he did nothing because "comedy".

Was actually a bit surprised they didn't fit the whole arc into 1 episode like the last 3 have been. Feel like this episode wasn't as satisfying due to that. This show sure does love to swap places with Ascendance of a Bookworm for anime of the season for me.
