Assassin's Pride
While the animation looks good, the plot and characters feel empty. Major decisions from the main characters just fit what the story wants, with no real reason to why the characters would come to such a conclusion. An assassin decides to save a girl even though he's already concluded she was born of an affair therefore not an heir? He was able to come to this conclusion swiftly despite being an Assassin. I guess he's a super sleuth as well. Well that isn't uncommon for an overly powered male character. This type of anime leaves me with a bad taste personally. I'll give the second episode a shot but I'll probably just decide at that point this anime will be a waste of time to watch.

I think I'm getting closer to the final order. Some of my opinions still need some work to be more helpful, but it's going well.
Assassin's Pride is still a mystery. A lot will depend on the next 2 episodes. It might very easily go downhill. It might also become very good.

The only other thing I see this season would be Babylon, but it is near impossible for me to keep up with story heavy shows on a weekly basis, so will be waiting until it finishes airing.

Oh, now I realised Chuuka Ichiban! is a sequel of this:

The idea is very similar to Food Wars, but with Chinese cuisine as its main topic. The historical setting makes it more interesting. I am not sure if I gonna watch it though, as I've already seen a lot of Food Wars and I became a bit bored of this concept.
