I had a curious thought - so many fans here, I wondered how many of you have anime shrines? Are they dedicated to one series or are they a potpourri display?

Show us your anime shrines!

I'm not a true fan it seems because I don't have any.

I used to have a 'classy' display shelf for my box sets.

Now I don't own any anime or merchandise.

Where does this "true fan" stuff come from? If you enjoy anime and like to watch it, you're a fan, period.

If you buy anime merchandise, you may be a collector. While most collectors are fans, you don't have to be a collector to be a fan. Collectors sometimes like to show off and create a shrine or cabinet to house their prizes.

The part about not being a true fan was a joke, but OK. My sense of humour might be hermetic sometimes.

My most favourite are collectors who are not fans. (That was a joke as well, they're my least favourite.)

But I can later show what I bought not so long ago. When I take pics. Does it count?

I don't know if they count as shrines, but I do display my figures. I love my figures.

My acquisition policy is to only acquire characters that have traits that I admire
