The story telling and much of the dialogue has remained the same.
But the small details are what show just how true to the manga the reboot is and where the story will eventually go as it progresses.

Yup, older series is more humorist.

I like too the ep 22, which the story of Hana-chan.

I answered my own question. On Funimation, episodes 1-13 are free. 14-25 require premium. So I assume it is a two part season. Hopefully Hulu gets the rest soon.
