Black Butler

On his tenth birthday, Ciel Phantomhive's home is invaded by slavers who kill his parents and his dog, then set the mansion ablaze. He was feared to be lost in that fire as well, only to reappear weeks later in the company of a tall and very efficient butler, Sebastian Michaelis. However, Ciel's inheritance includes a duty of service to Queen Victoria - to be her watch dog, investigating crimes that may threaten the empire - or the crown.

He also carries with him a second duty - to find the ones who killed his family.
