I think both sides are to blame. Passione for not fessing up to funimation that it was borderline hentai so that funimation would buy the rights to air it. and i think funimation are somewhat stupid as didn't it occur to them to maybe check out the source material first. either way all they've done is created more interest in the show because now people will want to see just how far it pushes the limits. I watch the uncensored one anyway so just means i'll have to wait a day or so later to see the next episode.

Yeah, I think you're right about that.

This show really blurs the line between hentai and non-hentai. But I wonder how real the line was. In the 80s etc. there were some borderline shows already. I suppose the line was drawn by the TV anime (the TV stations probably didn't really want to show hentai during normal hours.)

I need to check where and at which hour this show airs in Japan.

Can you imagine the Funimation voice actors faces when they got the script, especially of the last episode.
I'm not surprised, it seems like they should have read the manga.

I'm not very knowledgeable about Funimation and their voice actors. (I don't watch dubs.) Are there many among them who wouldn't like this kind of thing?

The opening was perfect middle finger to funimation.
I would sacrifice myself to see how long I would last.
It's very clear why funimation dropped this series.
Also the art seems to have gotten more detailed in this episode.
The bathing interlude during the sausage scene.
Also slightly jealous of crims fire resistance.

Some interesting news. This anime got cancelled from some other platforms, but mostly western.

The anime will continue to air on KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS11, and AT-X.

BUT

It also got cancelled from Tokyo MX.

This last bit is surprising. I wonder if it's related to the cancellation from other platforms like Funimation and Amazon, but I'm not sure how it could be. The reason for cancellation from Tokyo MX was not really provided, only a vague statement.
