In case there is a muisunderstanding, your not required to become promoter to be a member. You can just read, vote and contribute to discussions too.
Also being a promoter isn't usually very difficult. You suggest a manga, give a chapter min. and try to start discussions about it. At the end of the week, if we vote to continue the manga, you can just give another chapter min. and just work from there.
