This thread reminds me that I need to finish Serial Experiments Lain at some point... I feel like it has relevance to my life based on how much time I spend on the internet >.>

I don't think I could get into Lain. I bought the box set before seeing it and was kinda bored with it.

Fucking love Macross, but I haven't seen the first one.

I like macross 7 but it's a crap anime. I only recommend it for the music lol.

Hmm... Lain is not for everyone it seems. What was the main reason you dropped it? You didn't feel any connection with Lain?

I don't remember specifically, it's been quite a long time.

Was it...abstract? I don't like abstract as much in shows or to tell stories.

Yeah, it's abstract. That's why it's good, he he.

OK, I get why you don't like it.

Speaking of blues and the 90's...

I remember enjoying Blue Seed when I saw it on TV, but in retrospect that says nothing, considering I remember zero bits of it.

"Pick me up foxy night game" is some of the most unusual English I've seen in an anime.

Ranma 1/2

Two friends at a dojo make a pledge that one day they would unite their two families by having their children marry. The Tendo family has three daughters - Kaisume, Nabiki, and Akane - and the Saotome family has one son, Ranma. And it's time for the two familes to meet and decide, much to the surprise of the Tendo daughters. Ranma's arrival however, is being carried in over the shoulder of panda. And she's not quite what they expected....

Well, one shojuld be careful when they train at a cursed training ground in China.

The long-running gag in this show is the various martial arts that appear, everything from cheerleading to tea ceremonies.

Dominion Tank Police

In the very polluted Newport City, crime has risen to whole new levels, so the city decides to form a new special response task force - the Tank Police. However, there's no available tank for new recruit Leona Ozaki, so she builds her own mini-tank from the tank scrapyard, Bonaparte.

Take the X train

Are you afraid of trains? Do you fear electricity? No? But you should! ;)

A comedy horror. Pure madness. Don't watch if you're not insane.
