Coming in 2026, an anime adaptation of the sequel manga to Honō no Tōkyūjo: Dodge Danpei.

While the original dodgeball manga centered on Danpei, the sequel centers on Danpei's daughter Danko and her struggle to create the strongest dodgeball team in the Reiwa era. in the teaser we see a "soul inheritance" visual featuring Danko standing in front of her father's tombstone. The text on the visual reads, "I'm off, Papa Danpei!"
