I was skeptical because of the hype too, but I also thought it was a different genre entirely haha
I did love it but i definitely felt hooked after the first episode, so if you tried 2 and was still on the fence it just might not be your cup of tea
It did remind me a lot of my favorite that is also a bit odd, FLCL, so thing its just super aligns with my interests
