Anime/manga art appreciate [lots 'o images]

Do you have a series that you just can't get enough of the art of? Post some here! It can be any metric, really: maybe you find it charming, maybe it's super detailed, maybe it's hilarious, maybe it's so bad it's good. It doesn't matter what metric you use, as long as you can tell us why you like it, at least.

I'd love to start with Berserk! Each page has some level of intricacy, heavy attention to shading, and good balance of what you want the reader to see. I just pulled a random page off Google Images, let's look.

That inking must cost a fortune to print!

I'd also like to talk about cover art for a second. Cover art is usually used to experiment with or play with the characters, their dress, situations, actions, etc. Sometimes it's even just to show off someone's skills! Berserk kind of does that flashy-style.

I assume the cover art is made b Miura too, though I could be wrong. Either way, it's still a beautiful piece.

One I'd like to talk loosely about is Komi Can't Communicate.

It's not amazing in terms of detail, but it does overflow with cuteness and style.

Origin: Spirits of the Past is still, to this date, one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen.

Feng Shen Ji has some absolutely stunning artwork and some of the best manga covers you're likely to see.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

I also love the artwork for Uzumaki, I think it's quite "Giger-esque" in places but with a manga twist.
