=====
Mamamoo was a fucking delight!
I loved the arena a lot. Super easy to get to, super easy to leave, super easy to navigate.
Had a good view and great crowd to share the show with
So very glad I did decide to go!
Work has been okay-ish
Shift boss is getting on my last nerve
He is good for almost nothing but being in the building and timecards.
Except now hes messing up timecards
:(
Also, asked for a raise and he was very noncommittal
Which I did not expect considering with all the extra certs I now have things just stop running when I am not there
Like, I took a week off and came back to a WALL of product waiting for me and one of my machines
So, going to ask again and again and again I guess?
Really had assumed it was gonna go more of a negotiation about amounts, not just a :confuse: from him

Yeah, this one is especially blah.
Our last one was fantastic too, which makes the difference so more noticeable
oh wellllll

=====

MY BROTHER STOPPED BY A FEW DAYS AGO!
For those why may be confused as I haven't spoken about a brother much if at all, its cause he isn't actually my brother
So my actual brother is no longer with us (no worries, its been almost 25 years, not a fresh wound)
But a decent amount of time ago I lived in a shitty place with a lot of families in similar situations
All the parents would have to leave to work crazy hours at shitty jobs a lot
So me and the other kids grew to be like a family of sorts
One of them, Gabe, has always been like a little brother to me
Except to get away from his awful mother, he moved hours away a few years ago
Haven't seen him due to distance and pandemic
BUT HE MOVED BACK TO THE AREA AND SWUNG BY TO SAY HI!
He's so tall now, I had to double take
But hes back and does tree work now so I joked that he should cut down my two dead trees then
So he is
Went to do it today, but there is a birds nest in the bush near it, so gonna wait for them to grow and leave before cutting into it all
So instead he hung out and helped with the yardwork while we caught up
It was so nice to see him and catch up and now that I know he is around I can hopefully see more of him again
He also said that the place he is living at now, his upstairs neighbor is another girl from that same childhood "familiy" we built!
SO MAYBE I CAN SEE MY LITTLE SISTER AGAIN TOO
Lost touch with most of them during pandemic, so its nice to reconnect
Specially since my actual sister is still being a little shit to me
Maybe a "family" reunion will help her come around

getting the dining room and kitchen windows replaced finally
workers are coming tomorrow to do it
out of the 10 windows in there, only 1 is left working and about 60% of them are double panes that the seal died and so theyre all foggy and shitty
gonna be so nice to have functional windows in there again!
will mean i dont know when my next sleep is, since theyll be here during the day when I am normally sleeping...
but itll be worth it
plus, long weekend at work, so i have until monday night to get back into the groove
plenty of time, i hope hahaha

Windows were replaced without issue
Town building inspector came this afternoon to approve and close out the permit
On to the next house project!
It really never ends
Next project is a basement/garage cleanup and organize one
My little place is built into a hill so the garage is technically the basement
I only say technically because it has the garage door and all but because there is no fire rated sheetrock between it and the house, it cant officially be called a garage
It is a bit of a mess right now but I did a bit of a clean out a bit ago and now i have given a lot of stuff we dont need away and got myself new racks for the storage totes
Time to finish it off
Also, need to finish off some yard projects
Makes me want to get the deck redone.......
Probably a next year project
I tried seeing if I could do it myself but I do not think I should from the research I have done

Work is still okay
Tired of one of my machines, but thats normal when one machine takes the majority of my time
Sounds like we got a few new commercial space contracts too, so that should liven the place up a bit

Next concert is next week in Boston
Smaller group, Tri . be, is coming around
I really have enjoyed almost everything they have put out so far, so should be fun times!
Also glad its finally a smaller group and show
Not that the arena shows aren't awesome, but they hurt my wallet something fierce
After this one, taking a break from K Pop to take Ma to her favorite, Pink
Then back around to the kpop arena scene for the Blackpink encore show
Really am glad concerts are a thing again
REALLY missed live shows the last few years

Debating auditioning for a theatre show nearby, community show type, for fun
Theyre doing a favorite of mine, Cabaret
Could be fun
Could be not
I'll see how I feel closer to audition time

Concert was a blast!
They came out into the theater with us all and I got to meet them!
They were actually fantastic live too!
Sang a few bits a cappella and was very nice

My beloved floofs turned 14 today!
Momo and Eevee are the best cats and I love them very much
Hopefully they still have many more birthdays in them

Got the first half of my next tooth thing tomorrow.
Tomorrow they are removing the old crown & root canaled tooth and doing a bone graft in that area.
If it's not too damaged from the root absorption then they'll also install the anchor that'll later be used for my implant
Then its about 4 months of healing until we return to hopefully just install the implant
If not, then in 4 months time theyll add in the anchor with another healing period and then add the implant
Gonna be a bit of pain/discomfort this weekend I think

Teeth can be such a pain. I had some issues a d could only eat on one side, my tooth had cracked badly and I had to wait a while till I could get it pulled. I know the pain.

I too know this pain.
1 solid piece of advice.

i just got super "lucky" and developed something thats very rare in adults
Go me!
I am feeling better today, but thats probably because its been about a week now and I can eat things again kinda

Ouch! Sounds painful!
I too am currently only able to chew on one side. Mostly because there's stiches and other things to avoid on the other side for now. Think those come out in another few weeks.

Luckily, my insane fear of needles has prevented me from one of those!
Don't need more issues with my teeth anyway
Sorry to hear about your pain!

==========

About a week post op and can "mostly" eat things again
Still gotta avoid certain foods until the stiches come out in about a month..
But overall, can chew most things again, on one side

Work has been okayish
I have been asking for a raise for awhile and boss keeps saying hes waiting on his boss but then also tells me all the times he has spoken to his boss about other inane things and I am losing my patience
Last time I asked about it (two days ago) he used his normal excuse, saw my face, and then stressed that hes not blowing me off
I admit, I just responded that well if he isn't someone sure is
I mean, I earned 2 extra certifications for this place that allowed them to keep running two whole areas of this place.
One of those, I am 1 of 2 people in the department who did and 1 of 7 in the whole plant.
The other cert, I am 1 of 1 in the whole ass plant.
1 of 1
They can give me a bit more cash
Maybe charge the other departments a bit more to cover it since they also need this area?
idk
just figure it out or i am taking my cert somewhere else
In other news, been excited for the next launch!
Quite a lot of items we made are set to be in there
Also, strange thing to celebrate but the newest version of the BPA added to our normal ECLSS on the ISS resulted in 98% reclamation!
Huzzah!
Goal reached!
More space travel, I hope!

Now time to try and make some softer foods and pig out a bit
Seems to help my moods the most right now ha
