well, so i have had google fi for quite a few years now and i do have their "unlimited" plan
its just like many of those others where its unlimited up to a point
and then after, its still "free" but its because they throttle you down to dialup speeds
I just have never hit their limit before, in all the years of having them
To be fair, their cap seems to be 50GB and my normal use is only 20GB a month
Looks like I just turned off my wifi and forgot to turn it back on for like a week....

i seem to have maybe made myself ill
having some internal issues today
i think i pushed it on the choco
a month or so ago, i had a mini bar of it and had zero reaction
but then i just had a good amount of thin mints yesterday and the rebellion seems to be back on
so todays been fun
at least it hit while i was back home and not last night at work

also, only about a week to go until vacation?
first half i will be visiting my favorite uncle in florida
second half going to north carolina mountains for my bfs best buddies wedding
still not sure what ill do for the day or two before the wedding where he'll be busy with best man stuff
but should be relaxing if not anything else

Work has been a lot, mostly because other departments have learned of my x ray machine.
One dept outside of mine has been realllllllllly pushy and kind of assholes about, well, everything
They really wanted me to get some stuff done for them before my vacation
I really wanted to not because of the way they've been speaking to me
And what luck!
Got a hot job for Thales last night that had to take priority!
Was sooooo nice to work on that instead of their items.
I'll get to one of theirs tonight for sure, but still
Felt good to make them wait a bit after theyve been kinda awful
Only two more shifts of work until my break anyway
Then off to FL to see my uncle and then to NC to see my boyfriends best bud get married

Staying up all day to reset from night shift life to day shift life for vacation
Only a little bit tired right now, so doing well
Plane leaves at 7am tomorrow
About 75% packed right now
Can't wait to see my family in a bit!

Trip was equal parts awesome and not so awesome

Currently still working on resetting back to night shift life

Trip update in more detail:
Florida part was nice. Mostly just a lot of eating and drinking and relaxing. My Uncle Tom is doing very well in retirement, so I was glad. I also snuck in a trip to the Kennedy Space Center, which was AWESOME! It did start to rain there about 2pm at the space center, but still got to see a lot! Doesn't matter if I work with space hardware daily, shit is still so fucking cool! Also had a quick trip to a science center and got to see a neat animatronic dino exhibit. Was cite and fun.
North Carolina part was okayish. Cabin was legit in the woods on a mountain though, so that made taking little trips out less attractive. Spent a lot of time just eating in the cabin and enjoying the views. Got to see the Sierra Nevada Brewery too, one day, so that was pretty cool. Wedding was pretty and not so bad. Just a bit awkward cause I really only knew 2 people and there was maybe only 40 so really felt a bit left out. Plus, weddings already make me feel uncomfortable.
Sad to be back from vacation though. Wanted more time off!

Just got back from seeing the next movie in the Ghibli Fest sequence, Ponyo. Forgot how cute it is!
Next concert is Mamamoo! And it is in less than a week!
Absolutely adore Moonstar! So I am very excited to see her (and of course the rest of Mamamoo)


Time to get ready for more work tonight.
Might ask for a raise tonight, minimum between pay raises is 6 months and its been 6 months and 2 days.
Yes, I was counting haha
To be fair, I earned another three certifications and now am the ONLY one in the building complex with one of them.....so I feel I've done the work to earn the raise.

THE reason I want to go to America! I always wanted to see a shuttle launch, but that won't be happening now...

They still have some cool rocket launches now and will also have some orion/artemis ones soon too
Though I get it...shuttle is way cooler!
