feeling better!
tho now bf is showing signs of illness
not surprised, but still sad for him
work has been okay
mostly been resting around the house and reading in blankets when not sleeping or working
still a bit recovery time for me from my illness and also just too cold to want to do much else
oh, i did sign up for a broadway chorus group again and will return to those practices now that i am no longer potentially infectious
also played a one shot of dnd with a new group for fun and it was fun

Fun fact when I further came here I jumped into an rp against someone way stronger. They patted my head and said come to me when you get stronger like a kid. We'll technically I was an rp noob.

i actually kind of got that feeling for a bit and i used to give you and some others i got similar vibes from a bit of a space buffer

Fun fact when I further came here I jumped into an rp against someone way stronger. They patted my head and said come to me when you get stronger like a kid. We'll technically I was an rp noob.

awww, at least you tried. when i was new on here i had been rping a little but was so intimidated by the rp sections at the time i didnt even try in here outside of the "silly" rps that CL used to have often

this has me thinking back on how i was when i was new and it makes me cringe a bit
to be fair i would have been 15/16 and i feel like it showed
but i also first stuck to the old conventions area the most because i was super active in US conventions back then
then for awhile i was helping run a game and game dev club so i then was in and around the game section a lot
then i got into my late teens/early twenties tryhard intellectual phase and mostly lived in the GD of old
then i just got lazy and decided forum spam is where its at and just cocooned myself into CL
first bit of time there, i was....a lot
glad i have gotten older and changed a bit
pretty happy with how i am today irl and on here
also jeeeeeeeze how has it been about 20 years on here

Those were the harder rpers hung around. It was harder and longer posts. While crazy league had the smaller not always so serious. This place was bigger then the place I was on before. I've been here a long time, can't believe it's been that long either.

i mean, RR was a hellscape of try harding RPing and it definitely had some effort put into it, but overall it wasn't necessarily better than places like cityscape
