Been trying to learn a new game on boardgamearena, crafting the cosmos
Fun little board game, but a bit of pieces to keep track of
Which makes it more fun to try online where the computer tracks the tokens for me

Work still hasn't given us a date for the shift switch
I also waited too long to apply to an open spot in another area on my current shit
They closed the posting before I could submit
Oh well, will keep looking

Last nights job was an easier one though!
Finally got a break from the problem program that is MELCO and got to return to some of our ORION items
From my spot, much easier program to deal with

One of the cats had a vet appointment today, she's okay but had to get an antibiotic shot
Eevee is a good old girl but she sometimes gets these cysts and they don't seem to pain her but the shot should help the latest one clear up easier for her

well, it is official
i am being sent to second shift (330pm-midnight) starting on May 5th
gross
still looking for other jobs in the area that would keep me on my overnights i love
but most of them are non-union and pay about half what i make now
so might just have to deal with it for the cash for a bit

tomorrow i turn 36

because of work and family stuff, havent planned a party like i normally do
instead going to try and see my friends jazz band play

friday i am speaking at a women in manufacturing event again
should be nice
have done it for about 5 years now
each time is mostly okay
but some of the people there...
yeahhhhh
will also make me a bit sad
have not been back there since my friend who worked there passed via suicide
gonna have some feels about that i am sure
might go a bit early so i can remember and sit with my thoughts before having to do any public speaking

i dont use mine for work, but i use it a lot at work for the music/audiobooks
