I hope she's okay. Cats are pretty resilient
She is! And she is good to stay on the medicine, so all is well for now

Yes. I agree. I'ma worry your cat all day now

But I came here to say Happy New Year as I forgot to reply to your post in my journal.
If true, can stop worrying now. She is cleared to stay on the meds, as they are working!

Also, thanks! Happy New Year to ALL :dance:

=====

Momo had her blood draw and the sugar levels are good, which means the medicine is still working so she can stay on it!
They are also going to send some to the lab to check the sugar levels over time, but they are not worried about it anymore
So she is still diabetic, but this new medicine is working for her
Relief!
She is an old girl but I want her to stay around even longer
:<3:
Going in to work some OT tonight though, to offset vet bills
Was going to do the double time too, but sounds like a winter storm is about to hit
So maybe another time

Hugs for Momo :<3: it reminds me of when my cat who has sadly passed years ago but he had a underlying heart condition, can't remember what but he did pass away from a cardiac arrest. I wasn't there to see it thank God, I was living in another city but it just happened out of nowhere :(

I'm sure Momo will live the rest of her kitty life and a healthy kitty :<3:

Well I'm glad your cat is doing better.

I can't have a cat here. Partly choice, partly circumstance.

I love cats and dogs there both great. Cats can mostly manage on themselves they have a litter box while dogs gotta go outside.

Thankfully, Lily seems to be quite healthy. No problems at her last check up in December, and she is eating for England.

I think we only ended up with maybe 4-6 inches. But it switched to freezing rain so it compacted it and made it heavy and crusty

Understandable

Same-ish
I love all cats and I love my dog, but a lot of dogs I am not the biggest fan of

One thing I haven't had to deal with is lake effect snow, seems scary tbh.
Stay warm!

=====

The illness my partner had for the last week seems to have gotten me and I didn't make it in work last night
Seems to be passing me quickly though
Now just easily tired out
Might have more snow/rain, maybe even from the same storm Atem mentioned
I would be fine without it though, due to illness we haven't fully cleared all the areas around the house from the last storm

We have a freeze warning. That means like 30°f in California.

And I hope you get well but honestly I am jealous because I would love to be sick in this cold weather.

I am also jealous of snow, (not the snow from b4, real snow).
