Movers are a law unto themselves. One time when we were moving, they turned up a day early and we hadn't finished packing, at 5 o'clock in the morning!

Damn

Aside from the movers being a total mess, how has the move been? Liking it?

i've been LOVING IT here

it's our own little slice of nature

we've seen deer twice now in the... two months we've been here?

we have big fish in our pond in the back

when mom and i are fully recovered from covid we're resuming unpacking and readjusting furniture, but that's probably another week out unfortunately, mom's got a rockier road than i had :(

also there's a lotta bugs here compared to idaho, which is both neat and irritating

hopefully we get a fence up soon for the dogs

they're driving us bonkers with going out all the time on leashes only ;w;

anyway, we had a bear come root through our trash one night ( @Tuffin ) and it clean punctured a hole in a soup can, was intense to see, really

sadly i have pictures of neither

Lol you got burrs

I do too actually--apparently--supposedly--I've not seen them myself in the three years I've been in this area.

A friend went hiking with an acquaintance and friend expressed concern over bears and acquaintance said ach wot no fookin bears in these woods, they're all in the city. Which is exactly what he would say and might even be true. I haven't lived in the neighboorhoods he's talking about so I don't know. Here has plenty of backyards and scattered small clumps of undeveloped woodlands in the "city" so it's plausible.

For you...I see the place 45m drive west of you can be called a city. I'm guessing you don't consider that to be near a city. The place to your east doesn't seem like it's big enough to be called a city but I suppose the experience living anywhere is always more varied than can be estimated.

Do you feel like you live in the ass end middle of nowhere?
