I second the opinions on the Doctor Who specials! Those three episodes and the Christmas special were great I can't wait for the next series

For various reasons, I haven't been TKD training since October. First session back yesterday, and all seems well so far.

Sword training resumes next week.

What is up with me this "year." I've got a touch of the flu AGAIN. Spent most of today in bed.

Have you had any of the NHS Flu jabs? You probably should at your age.

I have one every year (and prompty end up with the flippin' Flu!) due to underlying health conditions.

Yes, I have had the jab every year since I turned 60, not that it's done much good this year.

Felt better as the day has gone on, but the killing blow was when my car failed to start when I was going down to the local pharmacy. Battery had been killed off by the minus temperatures overnight. Luckily, the mechanic who lives across the road popped out and got me a new battery, and fitted it for me. Thanks Alec.

*Sigh* Only a few weeks until the first Con of the year, and I really need to put my mind to a new costume. I've had a few ideas, but hampered by a lack of money...and skill. I need to find a few of my old bits & pieces first, and do a trial run to see if it will work.

Feeling a lot better now. Sleeping better, and not coughing anywhere near as much. Seems worst when I first go to bed.

Where's your first con at? I think there's one in Doncaster in a couple of weeks at The Dome, but that's a different company so let's not discuss that :D

Leeds, New Dock Hall. There's a free event at the Royal Armouries the day before, but I can't make that. Then there's Sheffield Magna March 17, and also Rotherham Leisure Centre March 24.

Hmm, Rotherham Leisure Centre? I'm not usually a fan of cons at Leisure Centres, they tend to be rubbish venues, but I might have a look.

Question is that the Leeds festival in April? Cause I've seen adverts for it, but not much information about it has been said?
