I went to the fish place/pub. Oh it's a fish pub. Can I call it a fish pub? I'm calling it a fish pub now. I had a salad with fried chicken and house made ranch which was amazing as always but more importantly I had Left Hand Peanut Butter Milk Stout and holy shit that's a good beer. It's so sweet and smooth it's like drinking a goddamn creme brulee.

Let me get a picture. Oh damn it has reeses things on the can apparently. I had it on tap, but yeah, maybe that's what it was like.

At work I have to do a bunch of paperwork for all the R&D work I did in 2021 so my company can get tax credits for it. I don't have time for this shit yo.
Oh and another developer that I brought into the company is leaving for a better gig and I'm getting all of his projects it sounds like. Bruh. Definitely don't have time for that.
I started reaching out to people on linkedin right after I heard that. I need to find more people to ~~sacrifice for~~ get paid by my company.

I left my mushy peas alone in the fridge after I ate them.

But I just got some out and tried to reconstitute it as split pea soup concentrate. And it actually worked pretty well. I have a week's worth of split pea soup.

Oh, games night went well. I got to try two of my new splendor expansions and those are good and got to try Argent: The Consortium which is definitely a fun game but on the heavier side.

I had a steak & shrimp quesadilla at one of my favorite mexican places.
Stuffed my fucking face. Too goddamn full.
Fuck me that's why I'm not skinny anymore.

Actually the only reason I was skinny after my early 20s was being dirt poor from age 20-26. Somewhere in that time period my young metabolism disappeared also and by the time I wasn't poor anymore and could get used to eating as much as I wanted again it was too late to save myself.
My metabolism is still a lot better than some people. I don't think I'll ever be fat fat.
But no, I'm definitely not skinny either. And habitually stuffing my face to bursting is not helpful I'm sure.

Slowly stocking up on ramen supplies. Ordered some kamaboko that can be frozen and some bonito flakes.

If I master it fast enough maybe I can share with friends before it gets too warm and I'm the only one wanting it.
