My side of our story:
Alex and I both showed up to AL at the same time. It's as if we'd enrolled into a school as new students. Bunch of rookies. Or at least that's how I referred to newbies. You may or may not recognize me. I've always referred to myself as being a "Rookie Forever!" as I'd never moved past being a rookie. It was a joke and a legit thing at the same time haha!
While getting accustomed to the place and making friends, we'd slowly began growing in the community in our own ways. We came across each other not long upon our entrance and hit it off quite fast. Have had so much fun after meeting her, I could describe it in many good ways! We both then went beyond our own journals and explored AL further.
Regardless of both of us doing our own thing in AL, we still had a lot of fun together and grew to become close friends. The bond we'd built with each other on AL, it is special! But after a year or so, I could not keep up. I fell behind and couldn't be as active. So about 2 years ago I'd left this place, due to unforseen circumstances. My journal had closed and "Season 1" (as we refer to it) had ended. However I promised her that I'd return one day.
I've since returned and felt it was time to kick it into gear! We both have wanted to have a journal together and be journal buddies, so we're taking the opportunity to do it!

After a bit of a hiatus from journals, I am now back in a joint journal with Yusei.
Yusei was very active in my very first journal back in 2018, as we were both AL noobs at the time, we became friends quickly and was welcomed warmly by the AL community at the time! Anyone that remembers my first journal probably remembers we communicated mostly with GIFS and had a lot of laughs.
Yusei sadly became inactive on AL probably midway through my 2nd journal, although no longer active on AL, we did remain in touch via discord.
I've have since had six solo journals throughout my time on AL. Sadly by journal six, I was starting to feel worn out and wasn't enjoying it anymore, so I decided to take a break.
Now Yusei is back on AL (very excited about btw), he suggested teaming up to make a journal for which I was like SURE LETS DO IT. We discussed back in 2018 sharing a journal, so here we are 3 years later
I believe I will find it more interesting sharing a journal than being on my own and I'm looking forward to being a little more active in AL Journals again with Yusei.
