Just spent 2 hours making a 45 second video for lagc haha
I got the template now sorted which is great to use for other cons!
You'll better all like and share it when I post it

My mum just told me our cat died today of a heart attack
She was old anyway, but I literally only just saw her 2 weeks ago and she was getting by steady.

Aw Mel! So sorry about the cat, I like cats, I'd have one if I could but the HA's got a no pets policy.
One of my neighbours got kicked out a few years back because she had a dog, 2 cats, a Parrot, and a Budgie (she once came round, asking me to help her catch the Budgie as it was flying about inside the Flat! She was like "for God sake don't anyone open any windows!")

She looked the absolute epitome of a Queen. Very stately and haughty. I'm sorry to hear that she passed.

Yeah it's sad but cats do have a relatively short lifespan apparently.

I'll be honest I'm so glad the February cons have ended. It has been really stressful with so many changes and people letting both myself and Mike down on loyalty and promising to do work but doesn't happen. It is also really sad as I feel I wasn't able to enjoy London as much as I wanted to, but I feel the new team we got together will be helpful and WANT to help which is the main thing. I've seen so many people say they want to help, but don't want to actually put the work in recently.
People feel running events is easy, but honestly, it isn't. It is a hard job, but it is rewarding at the end of the day when you get attendees personally thanking you for a great event and that is what keeps us going. It also shows I want to do more for the forums, discord, meetups etc cause the community is what keeps us going they are lovely ^_^
