Not really. I had family members in hospital (nether for covid, but one of them caught it there), one for a really long time thanks to brittle bones. There are to be some changes this year with how we do christmas.

Expendable - Another Year in Exile

I've been put to work the last two weeks helping prepare for the holidays. Imagine spending hours wrapping presents that'll be torn open in seconds. Baking a ton of cookies, then decorating them - and then they're gone with a cup of milk or coffee. Decorating a tree - and having to take off all the ornaments to work out why the fake tree's power isn't working. And guess who's going to have to put those ornaments back?

Snow and ice has been a problem too - yesterday, got hit by a blizzard and lost power for several hours - fortunately before it got really cold. However, i've got a couple of windows with ice on the inside. Whee. I just bought oil and I bet I'll need to get more next month. Whee.

So, today I managed to fall on the ice and bang my elbow. Whee.

Oh and by the way...

Zero Hour - it's Christmas - Your time is now up. Merry Christmas.
