Meant to be getting the keys today so we've just finished grabbing all the essentials (cleaning supplies, pans etc.)

Congratulations, and good luck.
Take my advice and get the carpets cleaned NOW before you move all your stuff in.

To those just starting on the journey of life I say...
Bang your own drum. Walk your own path. Live wildly. Love fiercely.
As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

We moved a lot when I was younger, thanks to the military uprooting us every couple of years. Probably helps explain my love of boxes (and tansu chests).
At some point, I think we need to take another look at campaign furniture, which has more style than the more modern road cases.

okay so
- we moved in on the 17th!
- got most of our furniture now, just need some chairs for the table lol
- cot is set up, baby clothes are washed, and i have the last few bits i needed for the hospital bags so im ready to pop
- had a few appointments since the last post here, he's currently measuring perfect for my height/weight and has no issues
- i on the other hand have been really struggling and me and the consultant's team have learned that apparently the last two months of pregnancy do not go very well with my conditions, so they've booked me in for a sweep on the 13th (its basically a non medicated method of inducing labour) and if that doesn't work then they'll book me in for a proper induction that week
- but they seem pretty positive it could be before then as i've had a few other things happen lately which can happen in the days/weeks before labour starts naturally
tldr, house is ready, baby could be here any day, so lets just pray its a smooth labour XD
