I’ve honestly had such a weird/uncomfortable few weeks

Everyone was sick again for a while, whatever
Finally had my rheumatoid appointment, found out I have a curved spine and that there is some kind of damage to my knee, just waiting on the X-rays back. Only problem is my knee has actually gotten a lot worse since new year and now I’m falling a lot more, yesterday I had two falls in an hour

And the other day I was with my son in a car and it started rolling back and I injured myself trying to grab the handbrake while grabbing Forrest, and when family ran up to the car to push it and it jolted Forrest started crying and I had a flashback to when I was in the car and had a bump while I was pregnant and they were telling me I had to go to hospital because Forrest had a different blood type and one small bump could cause the bloods to mix which could kill him. I haven’t had any flashbacks to that since it first happened so I’ve been really shaky for a few days because of that

TLDR; my body bad + apparently I’m traumatised by cars so that’s cool

in brighter news hotel and train are booked for london now, got babysitting sorted so now I just need to finish my new products to take! The last display piece I need is coming in the next few days then I’m gonna do a test display and just edit it for 4/5 days before London to make sure I’m happy with it

Also went to geek retreat yesterday as we had a meeting with the owner and we’ve managed to arrange a date for another market in March so I’m really happy with that

but knowing the name and doctors taking it seriously instead of me being like "hey i have back pain" is neat

in much less neat news
my washing machine is broken
i have no money to fix it yet
so im gonna have to do a fundraiser sale i guess
im still also very sick and keep choking on my own breath so
its not a good week

Feeling quite a bit better today so hopefully catch up with work now
My sales have picked up so much since Christmas it's actually wild, hitting 100 sales really has helped my shop more than I expected, it's really refreshing
I've got some new displays for London too and i'm super proud of how it's looking so far. LAGC is going to be scary because of the amount of new products I have but i'm really looking forward to it!

Forrest sat up on his own for the first time the other night too, and he's started to army crawl although I don't think he's really grasped *how* he's moving. Tomorrow is his last class of this term (already booked in for next term!) so i'm excited to show off his advancements before the couple of weeks break

Ok i'm mostly recovered from London now lol
I ended up having a big fall on Tuesday so I sprained my "good" knee so been pretty bedridden this week so haven't had chance to recap

Honestly I think it was my favourite convention to date! I had my sad moments at the party when I realised I couldn't dance along anymore, but it was still fun to sit and watch

I had a lot of fun in Artists Alley, it was a lot of fun to see all the cosplayers and I got to have so many fun conversations about my favourite franchises which was actually amazing
It was really nice getting the support I got and i'm super excited for the rest of the AL events im doing this year

In terms of March I only have a small local event, so i'm going to try to use March to pump out some new designs, practise with some new materials, and get some presents done!

That is also my plan for March but mainly just to get stock cause I always feel i never have enough stock.

Hope your knee is better, I'm just glad you didn't catch this conflu that went around all staff at the end of london.
